MUSIC MINISTRY OPPORTUNITIES
Saturday Choir Children through adults are invited to participate in our newly forming Saturday Choir. The Saturday Choir will facilitate and encourage assembly singing at 5 PM Mass each Saturday at Saint Bernadette Church. Practice will be each week before Mass from 4:00-4:45 PM. For more information and to sign up, please contact Lisa Oun at 597-5894 or at oun@stbschool.org.
Youth Choir An Easter children's choir was formed to sing at the 11 AM Mass Easter morning 2011. They sang again for one of the First Eucharist Masses and for Christmas Eve. This group may gather again for special occasions or if there is interest in singing regularly. Any questions, please call Barb at 649-3254.
Cantors Needed! Do you feel called to do something more for your parish? Consider leading the parish in song for our Sunday organ masses or Saturday evening Mass with keyboard/choir accompaniment. Cantors sing at various Masses on a rotating schedule. Rehearsals, if desired, are arranged with the accompanist.
Witness This large contempory choir ministers mostly at the 9 & 11 AM Masses. Rehearsals are Thursday evenings at 7:00 PM in the Church. Everyone is welcome! Just come!
Women’s Choir/Midnight Mass Choir This traditional choir ministers once a month at different Masses. Rehearsal are at 7:00 PM the Tuesday evenings before they are scheduled to sing. Sorry, gents, women ONLY! Midnight Mass Choir rehearses in the fall the Tuesdays the women’s choir doesn’t.
Resurrection Choir No need for a regular commitment. This pick-up group sings as needed for our Masses of Christian Burial and Memorial Masses. Contact Lynda at 649-3090 ext. 118.
Churchmice - on temporary hiatus - New Director Needed This Children’s Choir has gone on hiatus awaiting the coming of a new director. THANK YOU, Nancy, for all your years of dedicated ministry with our children!
