Text Box: Children’s Liturgy of the Word Each weekend at the 9:00 and 11:00 AM Sunday Masses Children 5 to 10 years of age are invited to attend an age-appropriate presentation of the readings during the Mass’s regular Liturgy of the Word. They then return to their families for the Liturgy of the Eucharist. Text Box: FAITH FORMATION NEWS I WOULD BE HONORED TO BE A VOLUNTEER CATECHIST!! Please contact our office at 648-1720 if you are interested in volunteering as a catechist for the 2010- 2011 year. Classes resume in mid-September. We are in need of teachers for grades 2-6 on Saturdays; 3 & 4, 7 & 8 on Mondays; we also have needs for 3 team teachers for our 9th grade program as well as 4 Confirmation advisors. Teaching is a very enriching commitment and we have available trainings and materials. Team teaching is also an option which we highly encourage! Registrations for 2010-2011 Faith Formation classes are now due. Our classes are filling up very quickly! We have a wonderful year planned and we want you and your children to be a part of it! Our Vacation Bible Camp “LETTERS FROM CAMP”, “What are Epistles anyway?” week was wonderful. Thank you to our many adult and teen volunteers who made our week fun, smooth, and creative. From our “Camp”, our 51 children wrote 215 cards to a number of soldiers serving abroad or recuperating at home or at Walter Reed Hospital in Washington, D.C.
