Sacramental Policies: Confession: 4:00 P.M. every Saturday and any time upon request.
Sacrament of the Sick: Available any time after 9:00 A.M. daily Mass or upon request.
Baptism: Rebirth in the living waters of Baptism is celebrated on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of every month at 1:00 P.M. To help parents understand the beauty of this sacrament as well as the responsibility they are undertaking, pre-Baptism preparation is held on the last Tuesday of the month (except December) at 7:00 P.M. in the Rectory Conference Room. We recommend that parent attend this session prior to your child’s birth. Call the Rectory office for an appointment.
Marriage: To adequately prepare for this beautiful commitment in love, arrangements must be made personally by engaged couples who are registered in the parish. They must each bring a recent copy of their baptismal certificate to their initial visit. Couples whose parents are parishioners and who live outside the parish must obtain a letter of permission from their own pastor and must appear together personally at St. Bernadette Parish to begin and complete their preparations. The wedding date will be made at that time. Couples who are co-habitating or living together, will not be accepted until they begin to live apart prior to the wedding. Pre-marital preparation days or Pre-Cana are required for all couples preparing for marriage. Classes are usually held once in the spring and once in the fall at St. Bernadette. Call the rectory office for dates. |
