HEAVENLY TREASURES MINISTRY

Heavenly Treasures Ministry is a newly formed support group at St. Bernadette Parish for families suffering the loss of a child through miscarriage, stillbirth or early childhood death.  When feelings are shared with others who have experienced a similar loss, it can help in the healing process.  The purpose of this ministry is to offer a path to healing through hope and comfort.  Our mission is to be an instrument of God’s mercy, His gentleness and His love.  If you are interested in attending a Heavenly Treasures Ministry Coffee Hour or for more information please click on the heading, call or email the office for contact information. “For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.” (Matt. 6:21)  C

Journey in Faith and Grace

Diocesan Strategic Planning Process

Bishop Kmiec has announced to all parishes in the Diocese that he wants to undergo an evaluation and discernment process in developing a strategic plan for the future.  Step one in this process is the involvement of parishioners at the local level.  Specific Diocesan guidelines, resources, statistics, criteria, etc., can be obtained from the diocesan website.  For information on St. Bernadette’s participation or to request a copy of the presentation from our General Parish Meeting click here.  Let us pray for Bishop Kmiec and all the clergy and people in the Diocese as this endeavor unfolds.
